Internet of Things (NB-IoT / LTE-M) Workshop - 20 September 2019
NOTE: THIS WORKSHOP WILL BE CAPPED AT 15 PARTICIPANTS
As the opportunities within the Internet of Things begin to grow, so does the required knowledge in order to keep up with the latest technology developments and market changes. SODAQ has been well involved for numerous years within the booming market of IoT, completing countless projects ranging from small-startup ideas to providing hardware for governments and leading telecommunication providers.
Therefore, who better can explain the technology than those who helped pioneer it? This workshop, hosted by SODAQ CEO and Internet of Things expert Jan Willem Smeenk, provides an overview of the latest IoT networks (NB-IoT and LTE-M) as well as how to utilize hardware to create your own solutions.
In this full day training workshop at the SODAQ Office, you will learn everything about the NB-IoT, LTE-M and the workings of the SODAQ SARA AFF R410M board, together with all its useful features. At the end of the day/workshop, you will have made an IoT device that uses Global Satellite networks to locate its position (at least). This position will be sent over the Vodafone NB-IoT and LTE-M network. After the workshop, you may keep all the hardware and the Vodafone SIMs that you have worked with.
