The Grove Loudness Sensor is designed to detect the loudness of the environmental sound. Based on the LM2904 amplifier and a built-in microphone, the module is able to amplify and filter the high frequency signal that is received from the microphone. After it receives the signal, it outputs a positive output which is also able to be used with Arduino’s signal acquisition. The output value depends on the level of sound input. In order to avoid unnecessary signal disturbances, the input signal will filter the sound twice within the module. Alongside all of this, there is a screw potentiometer that enables manual adjustments to the output gain for full customization. Pick yours up now!
