We now provide the Mesh Bee: a 2.4GHz wireless transceiver from Seeedstudio. It's based on NXP's newly JN516x series wireless microcontroller chip and supports ZigBee Pro network stack. The factory firmware wraps the complex ZigBee stack operation into a few easy to use serial commands. It additionally drives the Mesh Bee into a transparent serial communication node that can be a component of a simple point-to-point connection / complex mesh network.
Besides, the Mesh Bee is completely open hardware and open sourced. The open hardware will allow you to customize the firmware to your preference. Multiple tools such as JN516x's Arm core and JenOS are at your disposal to assist you in developing your projects.
